Description

The boards are particularly suitable for thermal insulation of cold bridges, concrete surfaces of brick or masonry walls, basement walls (perimeter thermal insulation) and basement plinths. By inserting into the formwork, a durable, direct connection to the concrete over the entire surface is achieved. In most cases, additional mechanical fastening is not required. This material does not absorb water at all and does not allow steam to pass through. It is much stronger than polystyrene foam, but also more expensive. Its use is advisable in all moisture-loaded elements of the building. For example, plinths, foundations, floors on the ground, protruding parts of floors, balconies, bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, swimming pools, inversion roofs, etc. Mediocre sound insulation characteristics and the inability to withstand high temperatures significantly narrow the scope of application of this rather interesting material. The possibility of using extruded slabs for decorative purposes is also noted. We can offer you polystyrene foam co-produced by Styrodur. A tenon groove along the entire perimeter of the sheet.
