Self-adhesive velvet panels are an innovative decorative material featuring a soft, velvety texture and a distinct volumetric effect. Its multi-layered structure, which includes a cushioned foam base and an aluminum foil layer, provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. The integrated high-tack adhesive backing ensures a quick and effortless installation process. Each velvet panel roll consists of five high-performance layers:

1. Top Textile Layer. Made of synthetic knitted micro-velvet on a polyester base with a short, soft, directional pile. Together with the core layer, it undergoes thermal pressing to create a durable embossed pattern and a striking 3D effect. The polyester base withstands water contact, dries quickly, and prevents moisture from penetrating deeper into the panel.
2. Core Cushioning Layer. Made of closed-cell expanded polyethylene (PE) foam. This lightweight and flexible material adds depth and softness to the surface, effectively dampens impacts, and prevents the panel from creasing.
3. Reinforcing Foil Layer. Positioned between the foam core and the adhesive backing. It serves a dual purpose: reinforcing the structure to prevent deformation or tearing during installation/removal, and reflecting heat waves to boost thermal insulation.
4. Adhesive Layer. A non-toxic, high-tack adhesive backing engineered to support the full weight of the panel. It provides reliable adhesion without the need for additional glues or compounds.
5. Protective Film. A transparent release liner that protects the adhesive layer from dust and drying prior to installation. It peels off easily during application.

Material Calculations

Option 1: Calculation by Vertical Strips (For Standard/High Walls)
Example: Wall height — 2.6 m, Wall width — 3.2 m.
If your wall height is less than the roll length (2.95 m), one roll covers one full vertical strip. The calculation is based on the wall width:
• 3.2 m / 0.6 m = 5.33 strips.
• Rounding up gives a total of: 6 rolls.

Option 2: Calculation by Area (For Small or Custom Spaces)
Example: Surface height — 1.2 m, Width — 1.8 m.
• Calculate total surface area: 1.2 m x 1.8 m = 2.16 sq.m.
• Roll area is known: 0.6 m x 2.95 m = 1.77 sq.m.
• Divide surface area by roll area: 2.16 sq.m / 1.77 sq.m = 1.22.
• Rounding up gives a total of: 2 rolls.

Installation Guide and Surface Preparation

Surface Requirements:

For optimal adhesion, the surface must be dry, clean (free from dust, grease, and dirt), and smooth. Significant cracks or bumps should be leveled out with filler beforehand. Remove old wallpaper completely. The recommended room temperature during installation is between 18C and 25С. The wall must be free of mold or mildew.
Note: If the wall is painted or finished with specialized coatings, apply a layer of primer to ensure proper bonding. Avoid drafts during the installation process.

Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Check Pile Direction: Velvet has a directional nap (pile). Before adhering a new roll, place it next to the already installed section to ensure the pile runs in the same direction. Otherwise, light reflection may cause a visible color mismatch.
2. Marking: For large installation areas, draw guide lines on the wall to maintain a perfectly aligned 3D pattern.
3. Peeling the Liner: To peel the transparent backing easily, stick a small piece of scotch tape to its corner and pull.
4. Application: Start from a corner, gradually pressing the panel onto the surface. Smooth the panel downwards and from the center out to the edges to eliminate air bubbles.
5. Corners: For clean joints in internal or external corners, pre-cut the panels accordingly.
Please note: Re-adhesion is not guaranteed once the panel is removed.

Attention Regarding Packaging Tape!

Some rolls may use a temporary fixing tape for packaging. Once removed, it may leave temporary visual marks depending on whether it was aligned with or against the pile direction.

Solution: If marks appear, slightly moisten a soft sponge or brush and gently comb the affected area in the direction of the pile. Once dry, the texture will restore completely.

Maintenance and Care Instructions

1. Never use abrasive cleaners or stiff brushes, as they can damage the delicate velvet surface.
2. To clean, use a soft cloth or sponge dampened with clean water or a mild, colorless (transparent) soap solution. A spray bottle may be used to apply the solution if necessary.
3. After wiping, gently pat the surface dry with a clean, light-colored cloth and allow it to dry completely.
4. Once fully dry, lightly brush the velvet with a soft, dry brush in the direction of the pile to restore its original plush look and uniform texture.
