Self-adhesive panel-rail in a roll is a modern decorative wall covering made of lightweight and durable porous polypropylene (PPP). A distinctive feature of the panels is a relief texture reminiscent of wood, available in a variety of colors. Due to the presence of an adhesive layer, the installation of such panels does not require additional materials or tools.

The self-adhesive panel-rail includes several layers, each of which performs specific functions:

1. Front side (PVC film)

This is a polymer material based on long molecular chains of vinyl chloride with the addition of chlorine atoms. The chemical structure provides high resistance to various substances. Due to the amorphous crystal lattice, PVC is lightweight and highly elastic.

2. Decorative layer

It is a high-quality color print that retains the brightness and saturation of the color for a long time.

3. Base layer (porous polypropylene)

Made of thermoplastic polymer with a molecular structure that includes repeating units of propylene. Its cellular structure provides excellent thermal insulation properties, low density and light weight. Polypropylene is moisture resistant and chemically neutral, which increases its durability.

4. Adhesive layer

This is a safe and non-toxic coating with a high degree of adhesion, ensuring reliable fastening of the panel.

5. Protective paper

Serves to prevent contamination and drying of the adhesive layer. Easily removed during installation, which simplifies installation.

How to calculate the required amount of material:

1. Measure the surface parameters. Take measurements of the length and width of each surface you plan to wallpaper, in meters.

2. Calculate the area. Multiply the length by the width of each surface and add the resulting values to determine the total area. For example: the length of the wall is 3.7 m, the width is 2.7 m. Area: 3.7 x 2.7 = 9.99 sq.m.

3. Calculate the number of panels. Divide the total area by the area of one panel. If the panel area is 1.015 sq.m (350 x 2750 mm), then the calculation will be as follows: 9.99 / 1.015 = 9.84. Always round the result up: in this case, it is 10 panels.

4. Add a reserve. To account for possible waste when fitting the material, it is recommended to add 1-2 additional panels. This approach will provide enough material to complete the job well.

Instructions for installing panels:

1. Preparing the surface. Before starting installation, make sure that the work surface is clean, dry and level. Remove dust, dirt, oil residue or other contaminants. If the surface is uneven, it should be leveled. For optimal adhesion, the surface and panels should be at room temperature.

2. Removing the protective layer. Peel off the protective film from the back of the panel to expose the adhesive layer.

3. Installing the panels. Start installing from the corner. Carefully press the panel onto the prepared surface, making sure that it lies flat. Avoid the formation of bubbles and folds during installation.

4. Fitting the panels. If necessary, trim the panels to size, especially for corners and edges. Use a knife or scissors for this.

5. Fixing. Carefully press the panels onto the surface to ensure reliable adhesion to the base.
