Multi-Layer Structure

1. Functional Base: A metallized PET layer. It reflects up to 80% of solar energy, blocks 99% of UV rays, and filters infrared radiation (allowing only 30% through). Visible light transmission is approximately 25%.

2. Adhesive Layer: A specialized thin adhesive activated by water. It ensures stable fixation, resistance to temperature fluctuations, and prevents edge peeling.

3. Protective Liner (Release Film): A temporary layer that protects the adhesive surface from contamination during transport. It is removed immediately before installation.

Installation Instructions (Adhesive Method)

Unlike static-cling alternatives, this film uses a water-activated adhesive system.

1. Preparation: Thoroughly clean the glass with a non-alcoholic soap solution. Any speck of dust can affect the final result.
2. Cutting: Cut the film to the required size, leaving a 1–2 cm margin on all sides.
3. Wetting the Glass: Generously spray clean water onto the window surface.
4. Removing the Liner: Use two pieces of tape to separate the layers. Peel off the transparent protective liner while wetting the adhesive side with water.
5. Application: Place the film onto the wet glass and align it.
6. Fixation: Use a rubber squeegee to push out water and air bubbles, moving from the center toward the edges. Once dry, the adhesive ensures a secure bond. Carefully trim excess edges with a sharp utility knife.
