It is better to prefer natural material to artificial material; it looks more natural and softer. A good carpet has excellent heat-holding properties, that is, such a thing can warm your home no worse than a radiator. Experts note that a carpet can reduce the cost of heating a room by 10%. In addition, it is simply pleasant to walk on the carpet barefoot, much more pleasant than on linoleum or parquet. Soft or, conversely, hard bristles pleasantly massage your feet, improving blood flow and even solving some health problems. Another advantage of the carpet is sound insulation. This is especially important for those who live in apartments and have nasty neighbors who are annoyed by any sounds. The carpet absorbs acoustic waves several times better than the walls of the room. A carpet made of natural wool is able to maintain an ideal microclimate in the room. This is achieved by regulating humidity, because everyone knows that the carpet is able to absorb excess moisture. As soon as there is no longer enough moisture in the room, the carpet will return the stored moisture. Many people do not like carpets because they supposedly contribute to dust in the room, and a person inhales a lot of dust stuck in the carpet fibers. In fact, the smooth surface of linoleum or laminate also traps dust, and it easily enters the human lungs. And the carpet fibers are able to trap this dust, that is, the dust lingers there until you use a vacuum cleaner.
