Vinyl flexible slats are a modern decorative material used for interior wall decoration. They are easy to install thanks to the adhesive base and are available in various designs that imitate natural materials, making them versatile for various interior solutions.

Composition:

1. Protective PVC layer - provides protection against minor mechanical damage, prevents abrasion and fading due to UV protection, maintains color saturation. PVC is resistant to chemicals, has high elasticity and lightness.
2. Decorative layer - high-resolution colored film that imitates the texture of natural materials due to a clear and detailed image.
3. Foamed polyethylene (PE) is a polymer with a closed cell structure that is lightweight, flexible, has good heat and sound insulation properties, and is resistant to moisture.
4. Foil layer - reflects heat waves, which helps reduce heat loss and increase the energy efficiency of the room.
5. Adhesive layer - a base with high adhesion, safe for health and providing reliable fastening.
6. Protective film - prevents drying and contamination of the adhesive layer, easily removed before installation.

Temperature conditions:

The vinyl strip is resistant to high temperatures, however, when installed near an open fire, for example, in the kitchen, it is recommended to mount it at a distance of 30-50 cm from heat sources.

Scope of application:

The material is used for interior decoration of residential and commercial premises. Vinyl slats are suitable for walls in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, children's rooms, bedrooms and hallways, as well as for offices, shops, beauty salons, fitness centers, hotels, restaurants and cafes. In addition, they can be used to decorate furniture, doors, window sills and other flat surfaces.

• Easy to install: Vinyl slats are equipped with an adhesive layer, which makes their installation quick and easy. No additional materials are required, and the rails are easy to cut with a knife or scissors and laid end to end. When installed on walls, the percentage of scraps is minimal.

Calculating the required amount of material:

1. Measure the length and height of the surface you plan to wallpaper.

2. Multiply the length by the height of each wall in meters to determine their area. Add up all the results to get the total area. For example, if the length of the wall is 4.35 m and the height is 2.8 m, the calculation will look like this: 4.35 * 2.8 = 12.18 sq.m.

3. Divide the resulting area by the area of one panel. For example, for a panel measuring 600x600 mm: 600 * 600 = 0.36 sq.m. Divide the total area by the area of one panel: 12.18 / 0.36 = 33.83, rounded up to 34 panels.

4. Don't forget to take into account possible waste when cutting the material. For this purpose, it is recommended to add one panel (600x3000 mm) or 2-3 panels (600x600 mm) to avoid a shortage of material.

Installation:

Flexible vinyl strip can be glued to surfaces such as old tiles, glass, paint, as well as primed concrete with small irregularities and minor defects. Surface preparation is not required, except in cases where it is whitewashed - then it must be cleaned.

- The room for installation must be dry, with an air temperature of +15 to +20 degrees.
- Before starting installation, make sure that the surface is clean, dry and smooth. Remove dust, dirt and oil stains, prime if necessary and let the surface dry for at least 4 hours. The vinyl strip and the surface must be at room temperature to ensure reliable adhesion.
- Remove the protective film from the adhesive base gradually, starting from one edge.
- It is better to start installation from the corner, carefully pressing the strip to the surface. Make sure that the strip is glued smoothly, without the formation of bubbles and folds.
- The vinyl strip can be easily trimmed with a utility knife or scissors to fit the required size, especially in corners and edges.
- For better adhesion, press the strip to the surface with your hand or with a rubber roller, ensuring a tight fit to the base.
